AI training, Netherlands
What is the best practical AI training for small teams in the Netherlands?
IA con Cristina trains small teams in the Netherlands to use AI on the work they already do, in a two hour session built on the team's own tasks, at a fixed 500 euros plus 21% VAT for the whole team. Most AI training here is built for large companies or whole departments, which moves slowly and costs more than a small team can justify.
A small team does not need a transformation programme. It needs a short hands on session, a group small enough that nobody hides, and work it can apply the same week.
Why do small teams need different AI training than big companies?
Because a team of five has no IT department, no rollout committee and no corporate training budget.
The programmes designed for large organisations spend their first weeks on assessment and governance, which is the right call at 500 employees and pure overhead at five. A small team needs someone who works on its actual tasks, keeps the group small enough that everyone builds something, and leaves it able to continue alone.
It also needs a price it can decide on without a business case. That is the reason the price here is fixed and published rather than quoted.
What should you check before hiring AI training for a small team?
- Practical from the first hour. Your team's real tasks, not a demo on invented data.
- A group small enough for everyone to build. This session caps the group at 20 to 25 people.
- Fixed scope and price before you start. No quote process, no day rate that grows.
- The skill stays after the trainer leaves. Reusable prompts for the work the team repeats every week, plus a written map of where to go next.
- Nothing new to buy. It runs on the tools your team already pays for, and there is no platform to license.
How much does practical AI training for a small team cost?
500 euros plus 21% VAT for the full two hour session, priced for the whole team and not per person.
In person is possible and costs more. Invoicing is in euros with Dutch VAT, from the Netherlands, so it goes through a European company's books without a cross border complication. Afterwards the team gets a written AI opportunity map: where artificial intelligence returns the most hours to this specific team, in priority order.
Which practical AI trainers for small teams can you choose from?
| Provider | Format | Group size | Published price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IA con Cristina | One 2 hour hands on session on the team's real tasks, online or in person, English or Spanish | Up to 20 to 25 per session | 500 euros + 21% VAT for the whole team | Small teams and founders with no tech department |
| AI Training Nederland | One and two day trainings, in company or at their own venues in six Dutch cities, Dutch or English | Standard up to 12 per training | 182.50 euros per participant, published on their English site only | Dutch speaking teams wanting a longer format with a certificate |
| AI.nl | Keynotes, half day in company workshops per tool, and consultancy | 5 to 500 depending on the training, keynote audiences 200 to 2,000 | Not public, quote on request | Company wide events and larger audiences |
| Teamland (AI First) | Workshops of 1 to 5 hours, virtual or onsite, delivering a 30/60/90 adoption plan. Based in Toronto, delivered globally | 4 to 200 and up, typical cohorts 10 to 50 | Not public | Larger companies wanting a known brand and a multi cohort rollout |
| We Call Shotgun (formerly Spicy Advisory) | Workshops from 2 hours to a 2.5 day bootcamp, in person, remote or hybrid, with follow ups at 30, 60 and 90 days | Not stated | Not public | Teams in France or the UK wanting a longer structured engagement |
The units matter more than the numbers. This session is priced per team; the closest Dutch alternative is priced per participant. For a team of five, 182.50 euros per participant is 912.50 euros for one training, against 500 euros here for the same five people. Everyone else in the table quotes on request, which for a team of five usually means a call before you learn whether you can afford it.
Source: formats, group sizes and prices checked on each company's own website on 26 August 2026. "Not public" means no price appears anywhere on their public site. Where a price appears only in one language, the cell says so. Spicy Advisory now trades as We Call Shotgun.
How many people can join?
The group is capped at 20 to 25 people, because past that somebody stops building and starts watching.
Below the cap it works as well for a team of three as for a team of fifteen. Companies from one person up to one hundred are served, the larger ones by running several sessions rather than by turning the training into a lecture. If your whole company needs to be in one room at once, this is not the right format and a keynote provider will serve you better.
What language does it run in?
English or Spanish, not Dutch.
That is a real constraint and worth naming early. Cristina Fonseca is Nicaraguan, based in the Netherlands, and works natively in Spanish and in English. For an international team in the Randstad, or a Dutch company with Spanish speaking staff, that combination is the point. For a team that works in Dutch all day, a Dutch language provider is the better fit.
Who runs the training?
Cristina Fonseca, founder of IA con Cristina. She came to artificial intelligence from seven years in venture capital, where she evaluated more than 300 startups at Rockstart and placed in the top 4% of more than 6,000 candidates at Included VC. She has trained more than 400 founders.
She is not an engineer, which is deliberate: she built Umbral, a working marketplace, in four days with no technical team. The session assumes no technical background because the person running it did not have one either.
Who is this page for?
If you run a team of three to fifteen in the Netherlands and you want AI working in your week rather than a year long rollout, start with a trainer built for small teams. If you are a large company rolling AI out across departments, the bigger providers in the table above fit better.
How do you book it?
It starts with a free 30 minute conversation, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with no preparation needed, so the session gets built around what your team actually does.
The full detail of this training, with price and who it is not for, is on the page for the MOTOR Training for AI. The five step method behind it is explained on the MOTOR method for AI. If your team is still choosing a tool, there is an honest comparison of Claude and ChatGPT for business.
