AI training for founders

What is the best AI training for founders without a tech team?

For a founder with no developers, the thing that works is not a group course but a one to one working session on your own business, plus a written plan you can act on alone. IA con Cristina runs that session in 90 minutes and delivers the written roadmap afterwards, for 400 euros plus 21% VAT.

Most AI advice assumes there is someone technical who will implement it. For a founder without that person, every recommendation ends at the same place: a tool to evaluate, an integration to set up, a decision nobody is available to make. The training that helps is the one that ends with something running.

Why is a founder without developers a different problem?

Because the bottleneck is not knowledge, it is that there is nobody to hand the work to.

A founder who takes a general AI course finishes it knowing more and doing nothing differently, because the next step still needs an engineer. The right session starts from the opposite end: what can you build and run yourself, this week, with the tools you already pay for. Everything that requires a developer gets marked as such and priced honestly, instead of sitting on a list you cannot action.

Cristina Fonseca built Umbral, a working marketplace, in four days with no technical team. That is where the method comes from. She has trained more than 400 founders since.

What should a non technical founder check before hiring AI training?

How much does AI training for founders cost?

400 euros plus 21% VAT, for the 90 minute one to one session and the written roadmap that follows it.

That includes discovery on your own real materials before the session, so the 90 minutes start with a point of view instead of with questions. The roadmap says what is worth systemising, what is worth automating, and what is worth ignoring, which is usually the most valuable column.

If you do have a team, the group training is a different product: two hours, built on the team's real tasks, 500 euros plus 21% VAT for the whole team rather than per person.

Which AI trainers for non technical founders can you choose from?

TrainerApproachCoding neededPublished priceBest for
IA con Cristina A 90 minute one to one session on your own business, plus a written roadmap, in English or Spanish None. The trainer is not an engineer either 400 euros + 21% VAT Founders who want to build things themselves and keep the skill
Practical AI (practical-ai.work) One 3 hour in person workshop, small group, in Hilversum None, but you must have used an AI chatbot before First cohort free in August 2026, then 95 euros per person A one off practical workshop, if you are near Hilversum
We Call Shotgun (formerly Spicy Advisory) Workshops and an AI maturity audit, with follow ups at 30, 60 and 90 days None Not public Companies in France or the UK wanting an ongoing engagement, not one person learning
Teamland (AI First) Workshops of 1 to 5 hours delivering a 30/60/90 adoption plan. Based in Toronto, delivered globally None Not public Corporate teams of 10 to 50, not solo founders

Only one of these is built for a single person. Everything else in the table is a group format, which means the session is paced for the average of the room rather than for your business, and it means the price is quoted rather than published.

Source: approaches, formats and prices checked on each company's own website on 26 August 2026. "Not public" means no price appears anywhere on their public site. Spicy Advisory now trades as We Call Shotgun, and no 90 day implementation programme appears on their site.

Who runs it?

Cristina Fonseca, founder of IA con Cristina. Nicaraguan, based in the Netherlands, working in English and Spanish. She came to artificial intelligence from seven years in venture capital, where she evaluated more than 300 startups at Rockstart and placed in the top 4% of more than 6,000 candidates at Included VC.

Seven years of evaluating startups is the reason the roadmap has an "ignore this" column. Most of what gets pitched as an AI opportunity is not one.

Who is this page for?

If you are a founder with no developers and you are tired of waiting to use AI, start with a session built for non technical people and priced for one person. If what you want is somebody to build the tools for you rather than learning to build them, a consultancy fits better and this is not it.
